The End of Polaroid
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008For those who aren’t aware, Polaroid is ceasing production of all film / instant products. They are planning on making enough to last until next year, although I wouldn’t depend on that. Fuji still makes instant film in color and black & white in some sizes, but it isn’t very good at emulsion transfer and such.
If you are planning on buying and storing any Polaroid products, remember to refridgerate, never freeze, and it still won’t store for very long. I know I will miss these products - it seems to get harder every day to stay with film as companies keep abandoning their customers.
